Students in Kindergarten – 8th Grade can be dropped off starting at 8:15am. Students enter school through the middle door where Mr. Ferguson stands to let the students in. Parents must pull into a parking spot to let their student out of the car. Parents are not allowed to stop in the middle of the parking lot to let students out of the car. Students will be marked tardy if they are not in the classroom by 8:30am.
3 Year Old Preschool and 4 Year Old Preschool arrival is from 8:15am – 8:30am at the far left (school) door. One of the preschool teachers will be waiting for the parent to sign the student in.
Kinder Ready arrival is at 12.00pm at the far left (school) door. The Kinder Ready teacher will be there waiting for the parent to sign the student in.
Students in Kindergarten – 8th Grade who are tardy should come to the far left door by the school office where they will need to be signed in by a parent/guardian.
3 Year Old Preschool dismissal is at 11:00am (Tuesdays and Thursdays) at the far left (school) door. The preschool teacher will be there waiting for the parent/guardian to sign the student out.
4 Year Old Preschool dismissal is at 11:30am (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays) at the far left (school) door and the preschool teacher will be there to have the parent/guardian sign the student out.
Kinder Ready dismissal is at 3:00pm (Monday – Friday) from the far left (school) door. The Kinder Ready teacher will be there to wait for the parent/guardian to sign the student out. It is important for the Kinder Ready parents/guardians to be prompt in collecting their students as Kindergarten – 8th Grade dismissal happens at 3:15pm and we want to prevent the parking lot from becoming too congested.
The barrier in the parking lot is usually removed around 3:00pm. Parents that arrive earlier than that are to find a parking spot and not park in the middle of the lot waiting for the barrier to be moved. For safety reasons, parents may not move the barrier themselves.
Dismissal for Kindergarten – 8th Grade is at 3:15pm. Students that normally attend Extended Care are dismissed to Extended Care by their classroom teacher. Students in Kindergarten – 2nd Grade and 6th Grade are dismissed from the middle door and students in 3rd Grade – 5th Grade, 7th Grade, and 8th Grade are dismissed from the far left (school) door. Students are not to cross the parking lot by themselves but should be accompanied by an adult. Parents are to pull into a parking spot to collect their children. Parents may not hold up the middle of the parking lot waiting for a student to get into the car.
