Expectations – What are expectations of students?

The Student/Parent Handbook lays out more specific guidelines regarding student behavior, but a concise expectation is in the following:

“Whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” — 1 Corinthians 10:31

  1. Honor God in All Things – Strive to reflect Christ in words, actions, and attitudes (Colossians 3:17).
  2. Respect Authority & Peers – Follow school leadership, teachers, and staff with a humble and obedient heart (Hebrews 13:17).
  3. Practice Kindness & Integrity – Treat others with love, honesty, and fairness (Ephesians 4:32)(Ephesians 4:29).
  4. Pursue Excellence in Learning – Work diligently and seek wisdom as a gift from God (Proverbs 4:7).
  5. Serve Others Joyfully – Look for ways to help and encourage classmates (Philippians 2:3-4).
  6. Take Responsibility – Own your words and actions, making choices that honor Christ (Galatians 6:5).
  7. Keep the School Community Safe & Peaceful – Promote unity, discourage division, and foster a respectful atmosphere (Romans 12:18).
