Bethlehem Lutheran students are issued a Chromebook starting in Kindergarten. The Chromebook stays at Bethlehem, the student does not take it home. Students that damage their school issued Chromebook may be charged for repairs or for a replacement should the damage be too significant.
Bethlehem can, and will, monitor students’ online activities using an Internet filtering software called Securly. Securly blocks websites such as social media and gaming websites in addition to blocking Google searches it deems inappropriate for school.
