Even though I don’t deserve it, God has graciously blessed me throughout my life. I was born and raised in Detroit (where my parents served as Lutheran School teachers). At Concordia University, River Forest, IL, I studied music and theological languages. I also met my wife, Alison (Mass) there. We have been blessed with 4 children, Nathaniel, Joshua, Zoe, and Joseph.

For 8 years, I served as a pastor in northwest Ohio. In 2017, Bethlehem Lutheran Church called me to serve as their pastor—and here we are! One of my favorite duties as pastor here at Bethlehem is teaching. I love teaching Adult Bible Class and I love teaching catechism classes for the middle school, and filling in as music teacher on occasion at Bethlehem.

Our family really enjoys exploring the Miami Valley area including our local Metroparks, the Air Force Museum, Carillon Park, and the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery.
